Wadena County DAC is a private non-profit vocational program serving adults with disabilities that was started in the early 70’s. DAC clients are employed at a number of community jobs throughout Wadena County plus there also people available to work in-house on piece-rate contracts for area businesses. Contracts that have been completed include mailings, small parts packaging and assembly.
The Treasure Trove Thrift Shop was opened in 2004 and serves the Sebeka community by providing a shopping venue for low cost clothing and household items as well as collectables. The Treasure Trove provides jobs for DAC clients who sort and tag clothing and household items, restock merchandise, keep shelves and racks organized and keep the store clean. The Treasure Trove gladly accepts your donations; the few things not accepted are large appliances, microwave ovens, mattresses and computers. Donations are tax deductible.
